Maintenance of an electronic component working apparatus 100 which carries out prescribed work using components 10 is facilitated. A component supplying apparatus 200 which is appended to the electronic component working apparatus 100, for supplying electronic components 10 to the electronic component working apparatus 100 is provided. The component supplying apparatus 200 includes a component storing section 210 which stores the electronic components 10, and movement range regulating means 240, 250. The movement range regulating means 240, 250 allows the component storing section 210 to move between a supply position P1 which is set for supplying the electronic components 10 and a retracted position P2 to which the component storing section 210 is retracted for the purpose of maintenance of the electronic component working apparatus 100. In addition to this, the movement range regulating means 240, 250 regulate the range of relative movement of the component storing section 210 with respect to the electronic component working apparatus 100 to a movement amount L4 that is previously established.
