Climatology of North Pacific Tropical Cyclone Tracks

Abstract : This climatology depicts and provides statistics on the tracks of tropical cyclones that have occurred in the North Pacific Ocean during the years 1945-87. The data are summarized in four types of charts -- mean paths, actual tracks, constancy and relative frequency, and speed of movement -- for both the western and eastern North Pacific regions, in 24 half-monthly calendar periods.
