Avaliação das temperaturas de superfície obtidas por sensoriamento remoto nas estações seca e chuvosa

2021
Heat islands are present in the urban environment, some contributing factors for their occurrence are the suppression of green areas and the increase of impermeable surfaces. To estimate the surface temperature, the use of remote sensing is highlighted. The present work aims to evaluate the correlation between the surface temperatures obtained by satellite images and those observed in a meteorological station, in the city of Rio Paranaiba - MG. To verify the correlation between them in the dry and rainy seasons, the RMSE, MAE, R², r, d and d’1 were calculated. Despite the dry season showing results of greater correlation (d = 0.94; R² = 0.91; r = 0.95) in relation to the rainy season (d = 0.43; R² = 0.07; r = 0, 26), the analysis of the entire period provided favorable results for the metrics (d = 0.90; R² = 0.77; r = 0.88). This result corroborates the use of remote sensing as an alternative for acquiring surface temperature data in locations with no meteorological data.
