A two-element 24 GHz planar end-fire dipole antenna array

The paper gives a 24 GHz two-element end-fire dipole antenna array in rogers 4350 technology. The antenna has gain of 8.8 dBi, a bandwidth of 1.3 GHz for S11, half power width of 56° in X-Y plane and 65° in X-Z plane. This antenna array is characterized by high gain and simplicity in design. It is also very compact in size with an area of only $1.9\times 1.7\ \text{cm}^{2}$ . This end-fire antenna array topology can as well be adopted in antenna design for other frequency bands in planar PCB technology, and also for on-chip mm-wave and THz antenna design.
