‘GUIDEBOOK FOR A BRAVE RENEWABLE WORLD’ : AN APPROACH TO PUBLIC EDUCATION

ABSTRACT A guidebook was prepared as one part of the consumer awareness portion of the 10th. Annual National Conference of the Solar Energy Society of Canada, Inc., SESCI, held in Calgary, Alberta. The book was designed to serve as a readily accessible introduction to the principles of energy conservation and renewable resource use. This paper presents a framework for public education based on the format of the guidebook.
