Volume properties of potassium nitrate aqueous solutions at high temperature and pressure
1998
The volume properties of potassium nitrate aqueous solutions are studied at 298-573 K under pressures of 2-40 MPa in the H 2 O concentration range 0.0962-0.944 mol/kg. The optimal equation of state is proposed to describe experimental data. The limiting partial molar volumes of dissolved salt in the aqueous solutions are calculated at various temperatures and pressures.
