Comparative study on therapeutic effect between Yixue'an Capsule and Yixue'an Granule

AIM To compare blood-stanching,pain-relief and blood-quickening stasis-dissipating effect between Yixue'an Capsule and Yixue'an Granule(Blumeae ripariae Herba,Leonuri Herba,Corydalis Rhizoma,Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,etc.).METHODS The sliding method and glass tube were used to observe the coagulation of both preparations.Mice models for oxytocin-induced dysmenorrhea and for subcutaneous hematoma were applied in experimental observation of pain-relief and blood-quickening stasis-dissipating,respectively.RESULTS 1.The coagulation results showed that there was significant difference by comparing the large dose group of Yixue'an Granule,the large dose group of Yixue'an Capsule and the medium dose group of Yixue'an Capsule with the control group,P0.01 or P0.05.The blood-stanching of Yixue'an Capsule was better than that of Yixue'an Granule.2.The results of dysmenorrhea induced by oxytocin showed that there was significant difference by comparing the small dose group of Yixue'an Granule and the large dose group of Yixue'an Capsule with the control group,P0.05 or P0.01.The pain-relief of Yixue'an Capsule was better than that of Yixue'an Granule.3.The results of subcutaneous hematoma absorption experiments showed that there was significant difference by comparing all kinds of dose group of Yixue'an Granule and all kinds of dose group of Yixue'an Capsule in the control group,P0.05 or P0.01.CONCLUSION Yixue'an Granule and Yixue'an Capsule have impact on the blood-stanching,pain-relief and blood-quickening.The blood-stanching and pain-relief of Yixue'an Capsule is better than those of Yixue'an Granule.There is no significant difference between the two groups in the blood-quickening.
