Motion Simulation Method for Video

To create the lively and animated motion,a new method transferring motion from video character to virtual one was proposed.This method converts the video character’s pose into skeleton states.The motion is transferred by synchronizing skeleton states and its time.The virtual character keeps the same pose with video characters at the same time.The deformation result of virtual character is generated using curve-skeleton deformation model.GPGPU technique is adopted to accelerate computing in the deformation.The method has been proved feasible and valid to simulate video motion using 2D virtual character and to decrease the stiff motion in character simulation.It can also be applied to cartoon-designing based on video and motion-transferring among homoplastic models.
