The invention discloses an elastohydrodynamic lubrication experimental device for a variable load condition hydraulic cylinder, relating to the technical field of measurement of the thickness and the shape of an elastohydrodynamic lubrication oil film. The experimental device comprises a base (17), a cylinder assembly, a driving device, a measuring device and a lubricating device, wherein the cylinder assembly comprises a spring assembly (1), a piston rod (2), a clip key (7), a piston (8), an outer cylinder barrel (9), a glass liner (10), an end cover (11) and a guide sleeve (12); the left end of the piston rod (2) penetrates a left linear bearing (3) and is connected with the spring assembly (1) fixed on the base (17), while the other end penetrates through the linear bearing (3) and is in contact with a cam (15) all the time under the action of the spring assembly (1). The experimental device can be used for measuring an oil film between the piston in the variable load hydraulic cylinder and the cylinder barrel under a dynamic condition, is simple in structure and convenient to operate, and provides experimental basis for studies on elastohydrodynamic lubrication of hydraulic cylinders.
