The progress of three-dimensional ultrasonography in clinical applications

The present three-dimensional ultrasonography is a novel ultrasonic diagnostic technique,and has been a hot spot in recent ultrasonography research.The three-dimensional ultrasonography provides more information and visual image than two-dimensional ultrasonography,and could give accurate measurements on tissues and organs,thus improving diagnostic accuracy.This protocol could observe the target tissue in multiple angles and mimic surgery.Its clinical values have been proven in heart diseases and fetus abnormalities.This article reviews the progress of three-dimensional ultrasonography.
