Antenna utilizing open slot in portable devices

The present invention relates to a wireless communication antenna used in a mobile terminal. The antenna comprises a slot formed in the interior of the mobile terminal by connecting of a metal structure with a case of the mobile terminal, wherein the metal structure includes a bracket. The slot is formed on one side of the bracket and comprises: a metal fence provided on the side adjacent to the metal structure and the slot and a feeding pattern for feeding the antenna. Therefore, the present invention allows to efficiently use a limited space in the mobile terminal in which a plurality of antennas with different use frequencies is mounted and maintains the performance of the antennas, thereby avoiding the problem of electromagnetic interference or frequency interference between adjacent antennas and installing the other antenna.
