The question of the possibility of including Hinduism in the category of the People of the Book raises two main issues: First, whether the People of the Book are limited to the four religions whose names are specified in the Quran, this case, the second argument will be how close is Hinduism to the religions of the Book?This study, after examining the teachings of this religion in the three fields of theology, revelation, prophet hood and the hereafter, has come to the conclusion that although the apparent shell of many myths and rituals of this religion is polytheistic and superstitious, but deep and explicit monotheism in the scriptures and Contrary to popular belief, Hinduism not only does not deny divine revelation, but one of its most important foundations is the belief in divine inspiration (Akashavani).Of course, in terms of the hereafter, Hinduism is reincarnated and is far removed from the view of other religions of the Book.At the same time, in the sacred texts of this religion, it is explicitly stated about heaven (redhead), hell (Narga) and the Day of Judgment (mahapralaya), of course, with its own point of view.Therefore, we finally come to the conclusion that this religion, based on the principles of the Imami sect, has the capacity to be included in the People of the Book.
