Operations on the coronary arteries of the working heart without using an apparatus for extracorporeal circulation

1991
: Operations for aorto-coronary shunting and mammary-coronary shunting on a working heart were carried out without the use of a heart-lung machine in 19 patients with various forms of unstable angina pectoris in early periods (7 to 30 days) after the onset of the disease and in high left-ventricular end-diastolic pressure. There were no fatal outcomes. The post-operative follow-up periods ranged from 4 weeks to 2.5 years.
