An oxygen enhancement ratio in an Escherichia coli strain lacking both the iron and manganese superoxide dismutases

Abstract A mutant of Escherichia coli lacking both the iron and manganese superoxide dismutases, shows an oxygen effect and therefore the oxygen effect is not dependent directly upon the superoxide radical.
