Meeting the Productivity Challenge through Microcomputer Applications
1985
Productivity has become a focal concern of many U.S. organizations in an effort to streamline operations and effectively meet foreign competition. It is important not only for professional managers but for educators to study productivity measures, enhance quality, and strive for new methods which enrich our society. The ultimate challenge is to better use tools such as microcomputers to enhance productivity through improved decision making. The paper presents a microcomputer productivity model which addresses these needs while providing a useful educational application.
