Robotic-assisted and minima nvasive techniques for cardiac surgery create new and un hallenges for anesthesiologists and surgeons. A rare com ation of left atrial appendage perforation and ensuing car amponade secondary to transatrial septal guidewire passage he setting of robotic-assisted surgery is described.
