Approaches to AHS treatment : special report

In recent issues of the SA Horseman, a series of articles was published on coping with the African Horse Sickness (AHS) crisis, discussing possible treatments for the AHS-virus. The articles elicited many negative and even aggressive responses, and rightly so. Before commenting on some of the approaches to treatment published in the series, I want to make some general remarks.
