Muerte, pasión y suicidio

2014
The main objective of the present research is to present the consequent explanation from psychoanalytic theory regarding at suicide. To achieve this, a bibliographic inquiring was done, first looking at the different fields` points of view about death and suicide topics, such as anthropology, sociology, philosophy and history, among others. Then, due to the fact that there is an ineludible notion about death known as ?pulsion ?, a revision about the meaning of ?pulsion? construct from Freud´s perspective was done, and also what Lacan´s reading shows about it. This is done consider ing other important notions such as ?deseo? and ?el plus-de-gozar?. So that these ideas are retaken in order to understand what Freud and Lacan said about suicide, and to conclude from their thoughts what ?pulsion de muerte?, by Freud, cannot explain, beca use it is tied to the ?superyo ? from a sadist nature and it does not look for the destruction of its object; whereas the ?deseo ?, seen from Lacan, is explained clearer by pointing out that, because of it, the subject can look for, not only the fulfillment but also de accomplishment and subjugation of it, and as an object, or suffering the execution of the castration law, finding out in both the same result: death, being this a transgression of the law, from the subject or the law itself.
