The dynamic star simulator comprises a star map control computer, a star map display system, star map correction software, a star map display device, an optical system and a horizontal adjusting mechanism. The star map correction method comprises the three steps of star map testing, star map correction and star map retesting. If a star map retesting result does not satisfy a simulation accuracy requirement, star map correction is performed once again; if the star map retesting result satisfies the simulation accuracy requirement, the star map correction software is generated and written into the star map display device, and infinite high-accuracy star map simulation is realized in cooperation with the dynamic star simulator.
