The Mediating Role of Affective Commitment in the Relationship between Quality of Work Life and Intention to Leave

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of affective commitment in the relationship between quality of work life and intention to leave. Additionally, the study aims to investigate quality of work life in College of Business Administration, at King Saud University, as faculty members have perceived it. Data Collected from faculty members in male campus. A set of multiple regression analyses have been conducted. Results showed the full mediation of affective commitment in the relationship between quality of work life and intention to leave the organizations. Moreover, results revealed that faculty members are perceiving college QWL to be above average. Detailed insights and recommendations are given to improve the level of QWL. (Mostafa M. Kamel.
