Cysticercosis in Fallow Deer in England

1987
The bladderworm cyst Cysticercus tenuicollis Rudolphi, 1819 was found in 38 of 309 (12.3 per cent) of fallow deer (Dama dama , Linnaeus, 1758) examined from three captive and free-ranging populations in Southern England. The findings report a minimum incidence as only macroscopic examination was performed and livers were not sliced.
