Reactive and quenching collisions of N2+(X, υ > 0) with Kr and NO

Abstract Rate coefficients for the total destruction, k tot = k r + k q ( k q is the rate coefficient for quenching collisions) and for reactive collisions, k r , have been obtained for the interactions of N 2 + (X, υ > 0) in the energy regime from thermal to 0.4 and 1.5 eV, E c.m. , respectively using a selected ion flow drift tube. Nearly all these rate coefficients show considerable changes as a function of energy.
