Application of "3S" technology in forest resource monitoring system

Forest resource monitoring is the base of forest sustainable development.Timely understanding and summing up 3S technology development status and trends in forest resource monitoring of foreign countries,which is very important for China to consummate the forest resource monitoring system and improve the investigating method.According to the actual condition,some advice is coming up as follows: Establish a comprehensive forest ecological and resources monitoring system;Convert the monitor method from ground investigation to "space—ground—air" integration;Standardize the monitor contents with the comprehensive analysis and evaluation;Construct a more perfect monitoring results-sharing networks and financial input and technical services safeguard mechanism,and so on.
