MICROMANOMETER AND PITOT TUBE FOR MEASURING THE VELOCITY DISTRIBUTION IN A NATURAL CONVECTION WATER STREAM BETWEEN TWO VERTICAL PARALLEL PLATES
1961
For heat transfer studies in certain cases of cooling in swimming-pool type nuclear reactors, a knowledge of the distribution of the velocities between two heating elements is of prime importance. A pitot tube and a micromanometer are described for making these measurements on an experimental model. (auth)
