The present invention relates to agents and methods for the recovery of acid etching waste utilization, and in particular relates to a method for processing precipitant acid etching waste recycling. Precipitating agents include compounds having oxalate ion, oxalate ion with a compound is used for generating a main component of copper oxalate precipitate in acidic media, oxalate ion and divalent copper ion complexation precipitation reaction, oxalic copper precipitation; compound of the oxalate ion may be used include oxalic acid, sodium oxalate, potassium oxalate, ammonium oxalate; oxalic acid may be used singly, or in one oxalate, or a compound with more than a few of the oxalate ion the mixture; the present invention can be quickly and efficiently acidic etching waste liquid precipitated copper ions, a copper precipitate completely separated from the supernatant, the supernatant turbidity after separation does not occur, without damaging other components of the waste treatment the filtrate may be recycled to the acid etching step.
