Análise da qualidade do ar interior sob a abordagem da manutenção preditiva e da inovação Indoor air quality analysis an approach based on predictive maintenance and innovation

2015
The quality of indoor air has a direct influence on the welfare of persons occupying or moving through these spaces. The use of indoor climate control systems arises from the need to provide comfortable conditions for the occupants, as well as providing systems that protect them from impurities in the air. In some environments with climate control, occupants can develop diseases, such as fatigue, infections, irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes, nausea, dizziness, etc. According to the WHO, these symptoms are characteristic of “Sick Building Syndrome”. This article, through a descriptive and exploratory methodology, deals with the assessment of the quality of indoor air, pointing to predictive maintenance and its innovative aspects as factors that minimize the causative agents of diseases that may arise in these environments. For this, we analyzed ten clients of a company specializing in climate-control systems. The results revealed noncompliance in some aspects that were analyzed, enabling the preparation of an action plan for compliance with all legal standards.
