Measuring air flow electronically

1985
The electronic velocity array (EVA) is discussed in this paper. A single electronic sensor, it provides a high-level dc output signal, while automatically correcting for temperature and barometric pressure variations. EVA's, unlike pitot tubes, can function at flows less than 1000 feet per minute without clogging.
