윈드 블레이드 출력 극대화 설계에 관한 연구

2021
The blade is a key element of a wind turbine system for converting wind energy into electrical energy. The aerodynamic design of the blade is about selecting an appropriate airfoil and determining the optimal cross-section along the blade axis. The goal of this study is to develop a model of the blade airfoil and to analyze the efficiency of the developed airfoil(blade shape is based on the modified SM series profile). In general, wind turbine blades are sensitive to Cl/Cd. The focus of this study is to optimize the coordinates of the airfoil for the highest efficiency(Cl/Cd) in strong winds and gusts through the X-Foil program. In order to develop an appropriate airfoil for turbulence characteristics, gusts, and wind conditions in the domestic sea area, numerical analysis is used to determine the length of the airfoil and its thickness ratio(Y/C), the relative position to the maximum thickness ratio of the airfoil(Xd), It is determined by calculating the S-shaped tail edge and ratio. It was optimized by repeatedly performing CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) verification on the 2D model modeled through the X-Foil program.
