Innovación social: ¿Nueva cara de la responsabilidad social? conceptualización crítica desde la perspectiva universitaria

Se puede evidenciar el interes creciente en diferentes grupos, perspectivas y disciplinas, por desentranar su distincion teorica y conceptual, puesto que existe una amplia variedad de definiciones que la califican de ambigua por su misma naturaleza multidisciplinar ?Se esta frente a una nueva concepcion de la responsabilidad social? Por ello, este articulo busca analizar dilucidar y entender la complejidad de la definicion de la innovacion social y el rol que esta estaria forjandose desde la Universidad, mediante revisiones exploratorias que permitan sintetizar la evidencia existente y aplicando criterios de evaluacion de la calidad de los documentos encontrados. Entre los resultados destaca que la gestion de las empresas no se condice con la mision y vision de las mismas, buscando solo un incremento de su reputacion con acciones paliativas. Se puede concluir, que innovacion social es un termino difuso, ambiguo y multivariado, sin embargo, existe consenso en cuanto a atencion de necesidades sociales y ambientales no cubiertas y su contribucion a mejorar la calidad de vida, desde un enfoque tecnico asi como aplicado, con soluciones proactivas y duraderas, demandando participacion de la universidad desde su quehacer medular: La investigacion.
