A medium strong heat resistant magnesium alloy slab forming process

2014
The present invention discloses a process for forming the strong 50-80mm thick heat resistant magnesium alloy slab. Routing is: large melting furnace, semi-continuous casting, homogenization annealing, temperature multidirectional forging, extrusion molding and aging treatment. Wherein the temperature change in a multi-directional hydraulic forging machine, forging billet before incubated 3-5h 380-410 deg.] C, the speed reduction 200-400mm / min. Press molding on a horizontal extruder prior to extrusion ingot incubated 3-5h 340-350 deg.] C, extrusion ratio 13-15, extruded thickness 50-80mm, width 130-200mm, the thickness length ≥1000mm board. Thick extrusion direction after aging at room temperature yield strength ≥260MPa, tensile ≥370MPa, elongation ≥9%. The process of forming a high efficiency, large-scale industrial production.
