Umbrales económicos de tratamiento contra Aphis spiraecola (Hemiptera, Aphididae) en clementinos

Plagas, 30: 287-298 Clementine trees have been isolated in mesh cages to maintain on them Aphis spiraecola Patch at different densities, which have affected the production: the formula relating number of aphids per m of canopy with yield loss has been obtained. Starting from this formula, those that provide the economic thresholds of treatment against A. spiraecola have been obtained: economic injury level, economic threshold, environmental economic injury level and environmental economic threshold. Formulas have also been obtained that allow to express these thresholds by means of simpler indexes of applying in field that the number of aphids per m of canopy. All these formulas have been compared with those that were obtained for Aphis gossypii Glover.
