A mathematical problem in missile theory

A method is proposed which enables analytical-algorithmic procedures to be developed for predicting the motion of a missile and an interceptor, for determining the interceptor targeting parameters by iterative means and for calculating the hit (interception) probability integral in the space obtained from the intersection of the scattering ellipsoid of the interceptor and its space of possible interceptions.
