Full-semiconductor laser light source device for underwater laser illumination

2016
A full-semiconductor laser light source device for underwater laser illumination comprises a laser driver, a blue-green semiconductor laser array, a collimating lens, a homogenizing lens, and a zoom optical lens group. The laser driver excites the blue-green semiconductor laser array to output blue-green laser. Collimated laser is output after the blue-green laser is collimated by the collimating lens. The homogenizing lens homogenizes an output light field, and outputs homogenized laser. After the homogenized laser is adjusted by the zoom optical lens group, emission laser is output to illuminate a target. According to the patent, multiple laser units are combined for array laser illumination. By combining multiple laser units, speckles can be suppressed effectively, and the imaging quality of laser illumination can be improved. Matching output wavelengths are selected for illumination according to different water transmittance conditions. Thus, the device has the advantages as follows: the output wavelength and the transmission window match each other; the output power and light field distribution are stable, the output light field distribution is uniform; the reliability is high; and the conversion efficiency is high.
