Synthesis and antitumor activity of nitrogen-substituted thalidomide derivatives

The present invention includes a group of compounds that effectively inhibit angiogenesis. More specifically, nitrogen-substituted thalidomide analogs and disubstituted thalidomide analogs have been shown to inhibit angiogenesis. Importantly, these compounds may be administered orally.
