We propose aninformation reconciliation protocol thatusestwo-wayclassical communication. Inthecaseofthe BB84protocol andthesix-state protocol, thekeyratesofthe quantumkeydistribution (QKD)protocols that useourproposed information reconciliation protocol arehigher thanpreviously knownprotocols forwiderangeoferrorrates. We alsoclarify therelation between theproposed protocol andknownQKD protocols andentanglement distillation protocols (EDPs).
