Heat sealable simultaneous-extruded liquid crystal polymer film

PURPOSE: To provide an LCP film or sheet wherein, without degrading the mechanical property of film or sheet of liquid crystal polymer(LCP), and also provide a method for manufacturing such multi-layer laminate as, for example, a circuit board with the film or sheet. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal polymer film or sheet, of simultaneous extrusion, wherein a high melting-point LCP layer is laminated on a low-melting point LCP layer. These LCP components are simultaneously extruded from the same die. The film or sheet is then laminated on other materials at an intermediate temperature between the high melting point LCP and the low melting point LCP, and, while the low melting point LCP component melts and flows to combine with the other materials, the high melting-point LCP component maintains its shape, drawing (or alignment), and mechanical properties are kept. When the high melting point LCP layer is sandwiched between two low melting point LCP layers, the film or sheet is laminated with two sides (the front side and the rear side).
