Effects of Isosorbide Dinitrate Tape on Flap Survival

Isosorbide dinitrate tape (ISDN tape) applied on random pattern flaps in rats resulted in effective prevention of flap necrosis. ISDN tape is clinically available and its long-lasting vasodilating action has been proved. So, when a flap is in trouble, simple application of ISDN tape might help its salvage.
