A Kind of Slot Antenna Array Fed With Substrate Integrated Waveguide

The traditional slot antenna array has the shortcomings of narrow bandwidth and the change of antenna radiation pattern with frequency. In order to solve the above problems, a slot planar antenna array is designed in this paper, which is easy to integrate and fed differently by substrate integrated waveguide. At the same time, in order to reduce the sidelobe level of antenna radiation pattern, the Taylor amplitude distribution is realized by changing the width of patch element and designing an in-phase and unequal-amplitude feeding network. The simulation results show that the reflection coefficient of the antenna array is less than -10 dB in the 74.2~81GHz, and the gain of the antenna is more than 20dB. In addition, the sidelobe level is less than -20 dB, and the maximum radiation direction of the antenna does not change with the frequency.
