Fluorosulfonic anhydride: a potential fluorosulfonating agent
1989
Reactions of pyrosulfuryl fluoride, S2O5F2, with various inorganic substrates are carried out to explore its potential and usefulness as a fluorosulfonating agent. New fluorosulfonates, viz; , NaBiO(SO3F)2, and Ti(OCH3)2(SO3F)2 have been prepared by reacting , NaBi(CF3COO)4, and Ti(OCH3)4, respectively, with S2O5F2. These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses and infrared and 19F nmr spectra. Keywords: new fluorosulfonates, , NaBiO(SO3F)2, Ti-(OCH3)2(SO3F)2.
