Iterative Minimum-entropy based algorithm for phase noise removal in FMCW radars

In cooperative FMCW radars’ phase errors in the received signal have a significant effect on the performance of the radar unit. In this paper, we present a modification and application of an iterative algorithm based minimum-entropy phase noise removal method for FMCW radars. The results we present have been verified by the data we have measured with a 24-GHz radar unit.
