Pemphigus foliaceus: a report of two cases in the dog

1986
The clinical and diagnostic features of two cases of pemphigus foliaceus in the dog are described. Dermatohistopathology and direct immunofluorescence examination of skin biopsies were diagnostic for pemphigus foliaceus. Both dogs required immunosuppressive dosages of prednisolone to achieve control of the condition.
