An electronic control device provided with an imaging unit for capturing an image, an extraction unit for extracting a feature value representing the motion of a subject from the image captured by the imaging unit, a storage unit for acquiring a plurality of the feature values and storing the acquired feature values, a motion determination unit for determining an input motion on the basis of the frequency with which the plurality of feature values appear, an association unit for making the storage unit store the input motion in association with one of a plurality of predetermined instructions, and an instruction execution unit for executing an instruction associated with the input motion among the plurality of instructions stored in the storage unit when the input motion is included in the image captured from the imaging unit.
