The invention relates to compounds of formula (I) and stereoisomers, SIENDE X, Y and Z, which may be identical or different, hydrogen, hydroxy, ALQGUNOS of the following groups which may be substituted; Alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkynyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, arylalkoxy, aryloxy, acyloxy, amino, or an acylamino group, nitro, cyano, -CO2R1, -CONR2R3, or -COR 4 X AND Y OR WHEN ARE IN ADJACENT POSITIONS phenyl ring join to form a fused aromatic or aliphatic which may contain one or more hetero atoms; W is a heterocyclic 5-membered ring attached to a C, which may be substituted, containing 1 to 4 heteroatoms the same or different and are N, Suoy IN WHICH THE ADJACENT substituents may together form a ring fused aromatic or hetero- AROMATIC; A is an atom of oxygen or sulfur and R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different are hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl or aralkyl group may be substituted and its metal complexes. The compounds are useful as fungicides and insecticides.
