The Research Status of Flow Improver for Crude Oil

Crude oil is a containing paraffin,colloid,asphalt and other components of the complex mixture of hydrocarbons. In order to improve the liquidity of waxy crude oil,adding synthetic polymer chemicals to the oil is an effective way to realize low temperature trarsporting and reducing viscosity of the oil. This paper summarizes the present situation of domestic and foreign scholars on the study and use of pour point depressants,viscosity reducers and demulsifies,to provide technical support for the use of the flow improver of production site.
