Configuration Optimization of Wind-Solar-Storage System considering Demand Response

This paper proposes an optimal planning model of a wind-solar-storage system. In the planning model, the objective function is maximized total comprehensive socio-economic benefit and the system reliability. The benefit includes the initial cost, maintenance cost, generation subsidy and DR subsidy. The loss of power supply probability (LPSP) and energy wastage rate (EWR) are taken as the assessment indices to evaluate the system reliability. The economic benefit and reliability of the system are taken as the optimal multi-objective. Battery energy storage system (BESS) and demand response (DR) are configured considering the interaction between BESS and DR. The improved gravity search algorithm is adopted to compute the optimized capacity configuration. The optimal results demonstrate the rationality of the planning model.
