Evolution and Adaptation of the Wings and Mandibles of Neotropical Social Wasps

Besides the sting, the wings and mandibles of social wasps have attracted the attention of researchers because of their uniqueness to the group and its importance for the various functions of individuals in the colony. In this chapter, we present a summary of the research published in this area and the main characteristics that have been recorded.
