[Diagnosis and treatment of autonomic-dysovarian myocardial dystrophy in patients with premenstrual and climacteric syndromes].

1978
In the examination of 60 patients, analysis of electrocardiograms with application of nitroglycerin, potassium chloride and obsidan was of definite significance along with other clinical, laboratory, and instrumental methods of study including selective coronarography. The effectiveness of treatment depending on the patients' age, the duration of the disease, and the use of sex hormones is analysed. It is shown that the number of cases with stable clinical improvement and complete normalization of the electrocardiogram increases significantly when sex hormones are included in the schedule of combined therapy.
