Erneute intertrochantere Osteotomie bei Implantation einer zementlosen Geradschafttotalendoprothese der Hüfte nach vorausgegangener Varisationsosteotomie

: Severe deformities of the proximal femur can make it impossible to implant a straight-shaft prosthesis. A correctly aligned axis can be achieved by intertrochanteric osteotomy. The case report described here shows that with exact fitting, the Zweymuller type cement-free prosthesis not only results in stable diaphyseal conditions for its own implantation, but is also a suitable means of achieving a stable internal osteosynthesis of two diametaphyseally proximal fragments.
