Application of micro-ecological bacterial agent Zhenongle on sugarcane.

2009
An experiment has been conducted to study the effects of micro-ecological bacterial agent "Zhenongle" on sugarcane variety ROC 22.The bacterial solution was applied on seed canes and seedling according to following treatments:(A) soaking seed canes(16.0t / ha) in bacterial solution for 30-60 min,(B) spraying bacterial solution on seed canes(19.5 t / ha) during plantation in field and(C) spraying bacterial solution on seedling roots(19.5 t / ha).In control treatment only water was used.As compared to the control, the treatments A and B showed better effects on some traits of sugarcane. The yield of sugarcane was found to be 133.34 and 129.74 t / ha with an increase of 17.49(15.1%) and 13.89 t / ha(12.0%),and the net increase in income was 3940 and 2807 yuan RMB / ha with an increase of 12.4% and 8.8%,on application of treatment A and B,respectively.Treatment C resulted in cane yield of 119.18t / ha with an increase of 3.33t / ha(2.9%),but the net income was lower compared to control. Therefore soaking the seed canes and spraying "Zhenongle" solution on seed canes during plantation in field might be recommended to improve the yield of sugarcane.
