Handbook of Phase Diagrams of Silicate Systems. Volume II. Metal-Oxygen Compounds in Silicate Systems. Second Revised Edition (Diagrammy Sostoyaniya Silikatnykh Sistem - Spravochnik),

1972
Abstract : Systems forming refractory oxides are now investigated at very high temperatures. Data obtained under reduced pressures, and also under elevated pressures, have become more numerous. Accordingly, individual oxides which constitute binary and multicomponent systems can no loner be considered as unchanging constituents of these systems; we must instead consider elementary equilibria in 'metal-oxygen' systems, and individual oxide phases. The main objective of this volume remained, as before, the compilation of individual data, by means of which a better knowledge can be gained of the behavior of individual oxide constituents of refractory systems under altered external conditions: temperature, oxygen concentration in solid and gaseous phases, pressure, etc.
